The Brindavan Public Schools

To commemorate the 60th birthday of Mr. M. Bhaktavatsalam, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the Bhaktavatsalam Educational Trust was founded by Mr. O.V. Alagesan, former Union Minister, in 1958. Both Mr. Bhaktavatsalam and Mr. O.V. Alagesan were Gandhians and visionaries who made a significant contribution to the building of the country. The Brindavan Public School at Coonoor, followed by schools at Athur and Kodaikanal, was founded in 1958 by the trust. 

The Brindavan Public Schools have proud alumni of hundreds of accomplished professionals such as physicians, engineers, lawyers, scientists, and a host of top civil service officers who inspire the young generation to visit the campuses of the school regularly.

The school believes that all students are able to learn to their fullest potential. State, global, and multicultural experiences can improve student learning. Graduates will have the fundamental knowledge and skills that will ensure their competence in problem solving and technology. They will be responsible for people, lifelong students, and will be prepared for a range of opportunities for post-graduation.
